Everything you need to know about buying the physical zine and more.

Hey everyone,

first off: thank you all for the wonderfully warm reception to SEGAZINE. We’re really excited about this!

Now, a couple of you have already asked about how we will handle the sales of the physical zine, and where the money will go. To cover all this, here are some answers.

What are you plans for selling the zine?

We will take pre-orders on the site after we get all the submissions and finish up picking out the ones that will be featured in the physical zine. The reason for this is that the page count depends on the number of amazing entries we get. We will determine the cost of printing based on the page count.

Once we have that, we will put up a pre-order page where you will be able to pre-order the zine at print+shipping costs. Based on the pre-orders we can determine the size of our first run.

Where will the money go?

Because we are selling at the cost of print and shipping, no profit will be made. SEGAZINE is a project we want to do because we love zines and art, not because we want to make a profit.

Any money that remains after we send out the first run will go towards printing a second run of SEGAZINE.

Will artists get a copy?

Yes! Every artist featured in the physical zine will get a personal copy. As soon as we’ve gathered all the entries for the physical zine, we’ll get in contact with the artists so we can send them a copy.
